May Fashion Wish List (Current Trends)!

So as always I'm spending hours searching through all the high street websites in awe of everything I want! I just thought I'd let you all see what I'm loving at the moment and also keep you up to date on the current trends! If you end up buying any of these things please put them on and tag me in the pictures cause I absolutely love to see everyone's different way of styling items!

The first item is an expensive one of course, cause if you know me at all you know I have expensive taste! This River Island jacket is currently online for €160 so it's fair to say I won't be getting my hands on this one but I'm oh so in love! Buy It Here! I would absolutely love to have this for me holliers in June, super cool and has a Mediterranean feel.
I don't know what it is with me and jackets and I must get so repetitive but again I'm loving this River Island Bolero it's €45 which to me is pretty good but then again there isn't a whole load of fabric! Again I want this so much for me holliers! Buy It here!

I think these tassel trousers are amazing and would look super trendy with just a plain white tee! €40 again in River Island! Buy Them Here!

Next I'm in love with these shorts and I really think they would go amazingly with the orange bolero! This list really should have been called what I want in River Island for my holidays but I don't want to be too predictable yano! Anyways the shorts are €45 which I think is great cause they are gorge and you'd only get loads of wear out of them over the summer!  Buy Them Here!

And last but certainly not least I thought I'd throw in a super high end item just for us to look at and admire! I am completely in love with this amazing Salvatore Ferragamo Clutch but for a whopping €1,272 it'll be staying safe and sound in Brown Thomas where I can just look at it from a far! But lets just admire it's beauty and maybe some day we'll get there! Adore Here!

Again if you end up buying any of these beauties please take a snap and tag me in it cause I'd love to see them!

BLOGSQUAD Athlone Review!

So last weekend me and my mum headed down to Athlone to see all our favourite bloggers and snapchatters in action! I must say we had an absolutely brilliant time full of laughs, fashion, makeup and food, obviously!

The event was on in the lovely Athlone Springs Hotel which was beautifully set up for the event with lovely pink lighting, center pieces and of course goodie bags, which everyone dug into within seconds! The bags I must say were brilliant, they included:

Simple Micellar Water
Vaseline Spray Moisturiser
Sure Cotton Dry
Wet and Wild Megaslick Gloss
Wet and Wild eye shadow pallet
Wet and Wild Megalast nail polish
Tantastic Self Tan Lotion
Blank Canvas E23 Brush
Perfectil Skin, Hair and Nails Tabs
Nia Facial Cleansing Balm
Palmers Shampoo Sample
JWD Tea Drink

I've tried a few items from the bag already and I'll just quickly tell you what I'm loving! The Vaseline spray moisturiser is literally one of the best products I've ever used, it's super moisturising obviously and dries in seconds which is amazing cause no one likes to get into bed sticky! It also smells like coco which makes it all the better! I'm also loving the Nia facial cleanser, as far as I know Nia is an Irish Company which uses all organic ingredients! The cleanser works amazingly to remove all makeup and leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh! If you want me to go into further detail on what I thought about everything in the bag just let me know, these are just my standout favourites!

Anyway getting on to the happenings of the event! First out was James Butler (@james_patrice) https://jusdejames.wordpress.com/ as he was the host, if you know James you can probably imagine the laughs that were had when he was on stage! A brilliant host who really kept everything light and kept the show on the road! He makes everyone comfortable within seconds with his dirty humor and mortifying everyone in the audience!

First of the speakers out was Joanne Larby (@themakeupfairypro) http://www.joannelarby.com/! Joanne spoke about what she did before blogging, how she got started and struggles she has had in her life! I must say for a blogger starting out like myself she is a major inspiration and from what I could see is an overall lovely woman with an amazing work ethic! I can't wait to pick up her book Fairy Tails as soon as possible cause it really looks like a great read!

Next to speak was Rosie Connolly (@rosieconxxx) http://heartsheelsandhandbags.blogspot.ie/ ! The first thing I have to say about Rosie is how absolutely stunning she is! She first did a fake tan application tutorial and then a little later spoke about skincare! She had a lot of really great advice and I'm now a pro at tanning my hands after she gave me the genius idea of mixing the tan with a little moisturiser and applying it with a makeup brush, no more crazy brown hands!

Ursula Walsh (@momfitnessdiary) http://momfitnessdiary.blogspot.ie/ was next to give a talk on healthy eating and fitness and I have to say if you are lacking motivation you really need to follow Ursula! I am the worst person in the world for motivation but ever since I heard her talk I have been in the gym most evenings and making healthier food choices! Her motto "You Gotta Want It" is always in my head now whenever I feel I'm losing motivation, her blog has so many delicious recipes and workout routines that you literally have no excuse anymore!

After all that we had some delicious afternoon tea with cakes, sandwiches, scones, profiteroles, the whole shebang, felt a little guilty after Ursula's talk but it was still well enjoyed!

After our lovely tea, with full bellies on us all, we enjoyed Lisa Jordan's (@justjordan_ie) http://www.justjordan.ie/ brilliant makeup demo! She is an amazing artist who literally had the whole room in stitches the whole time she was on stage. She also has the most amazing style and wore a gorgeous shirt from the new Alexa Chung collection in Marks and Spencer! It's gonna cost you €53 if you want to get your hands on this baby and it's selling out fast, so what are you waiting for? Don't mind me, go on get it! Buy Here!

Last but certainly not least all the girls came out again at the end and did a Q&A which I must say was my favourite part of the whole day! It was fun and they had no problem answering any questions the audience had to ask! Even if some of them were a little invasive in my opinion! Overall I had a fantastic day and would recommend heading to the next blodsquad event that will be on! I'm fairly sure they are finished for the summer now but will be back later this year!

I really hope you enjoyed this post and as always if you have any questions or requests don't be afraid to ask!

Makeup Essentials for All Skin Types and Issues! Part 3: Mature Skin!

What Has Happened My Skin?

With age, the skin will lose firmness and elasticity, and may feel looser and thinner, this is nothing to worry about though as there are so many makeup products out there that work perfectly on these issues and will have your skin looking great again! The change in texture of the skin may cause the appearance of fine lines, and less definition of the contours of the face. Your skin may become dry as the sebaceous glands (oil glands) become less active. As the skin may become thinner, it can start to  look almost transparent in some areas such as, around the eyes small capillaries can show through the skin. Waste products are removed less quickly than in young skin, and this leads to puffiness of the skin particularly around the eyes. Patches of irregular pigmentation may appear on the surface of the skin such as lentigo ( dark patches) and chloasma (hyper pigmentation). If you are experiencing any or all of these issues then I have the solutions for you!!

Ageing isn't a walk in the park and when it comes to makeup it changes everything you thought you knew about your face! It doesn't last as long, it creases everywhere, makes fine lines look ten times worse and it seems to just slide off your face if you get even a small bit warm! Don't worry though makeup companies know this and have formulated products that really help and make life a lot easier!

CORRECTION CREAMS
If you're dealing with increased redness, dark spots or dark under eye circles you can be sure there is a correction cream for you! These are applied before your primer and foundation and just balance all the colours on your face so you look even, even before you apply foundation! If you are having trouble with redness or dark spots I would recommend Max Factors Colour Correction Stick's. The green one is for redness and the purple one for dark spots or under eye circles! Max Factor is available in boots and online, this product is €13.45.

PRIMER
Primer is what you're going to need to keep that makeup set on your face all day! The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is the one you're gonna want! The antioxidants grapeseed and green tea help minimize fine lines, while the velvety finish ensures that makeup glides on evenly and lasts all day.

FOUNDATION
When looking for a foundation you want to avoid anything thick as it's just going to set into any fine lines and make them appear much worse than they are! A light foundation is the way to go as you won't look caked and and your skin will appear fresh and radiant! The perfect foundation for this would have to be the new Bourjois City Radiance foundation, there is a lot of hype about this foundation at the moment and for good reason, it has light reflecting pigments which evens out the complexion and has a natural appearance. I would also recommend using a lighter foundation on areas where you have more fines lines as it will blur their appearance but again only go in with a light layer!

CONCEALER
When it comes to concealer on mature skin I would tell you to completely avoid it if you can! Concealer's are formulated to cover a multitude so are normally fairly thick which then makes thena  nightmare when it comes to fine lines as they just love to set in there and make a mess! If you are adamant you want to use one though I would go with the Vichy Dermablend Corrector Stick as Vichy is formulated to be used on more mature skin and will not crease as bad as most other concealers.

POWDER
Once again as your skin becomes older it becomes drier so again I would tell you to avoid a powder unless your skin is oily and sheds makeup quickly throughout the day! Powders are pretty much universal in their quality so the only thing I will recommend is to get a translucent one and just apply it to your T-Zone (forehead, nose, upper lip and chin) as that is the only part of your face makeup should tend to move! You can also apply this a few times throughout the day to keep your makeup in place and keep any oil at bay!

Double Denim! Shop Olivia Palermo's Style!

Whether you love it or hate it double denim is back and not in a scary Britney and Justin way *shivers*, but in a fabulous Kendall Jenner and Olivia Palermo way!

Of course as always Topshop and New Look have absolutely everything you need to rock this look! We're gonna work off Olivia's amazing look here and find the best dupes for her outfit we can! Hope you enjoy!

This shirt is pretty much an exact dupe for what Olivia is wearing for €46 in Topshop! Buttoned down a little and with the sleeves turned up this will look amazing! It would also be perfect with a pair of white jeans but that's not why we're here! Pick it up here!
Next we have the skirt which was little harder to find but they have one which is pretty much the exact same in New Look for €20, cheaper than the shirt so we're happy about that! Pick It up here!

I actually bought these shoes myself recently to attend a wedding and I have to say they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and I've worn a lot of heels in my time! Again they are pretty much an exact dupe for Olivia's which I can imagine were a little more expensive than the €30 I spent on these! New Look again so Pick them up here!

Next we have the gorgeous sunnies, yet another new look find! They again are pretty much the very same as Olivia's but just have a little extra shine which I love! And for €8 these bad boys are definitely worth picking up! Buy Now!

I've just thrown in this New Look jumpsuit at the end as I saw it many times as I was searching through their website! I think it's super cute and affordable and I think I'll definitely be picking this up for holidays to really rock the denim look! It's pretty much a bargain for €20 as well! Pick it up here!

Top 5 Eateries in Limerick!

This is a list, in no particular order, of my favouite places to eat out while in Limerick! Limerick has a brilliant selection of restaurants and I like to think I've eaten out here enough to know what's good! So once again whether you're having a light lunch with friends, a family dinner or a romantic evening I've got you covered!

1) The French Table
Last year for Valentines Day myself and the boyfriend spent an absolutely beautiful evening in this quaint little restaurant. It really is the perfect place for a romantic evening with the dim candle light and windows facing the River Shannon, and of course most importantly the food is divine. As the name suggests they have a lot of french dishes which are perfect for the more adventurous such as escargots and foie gras! I went for the Tartiflete for my starter which is Panfried New Potatoes, Smoked Bacon, Shallots and Reblochon Cheese, it was absolutely gorgeous and Luke (the boyfriend) went for the Garlic Prawns which were equally yum! For mains we both went for the Beef Sirlion which was cooked to perfection and served beautifully! All in all this is a great restaurant with a very romantic atmosphere.

2) Texas Steakout
With this restaurant you get exactly what it says on the tin! An all American experience with steak and wings coming out the yazoo. The starters vary from Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad to BBQ ribs to Mussels with everything in between so you can't say that they don't give you choice! The mains also don't just include steak but it is there and very delicious! Their lamb shank I am told is meant to be the best some people have ever had but in my experience the thing to go for is the Fajitas supreme! As the name suggests these really are supreme, the best fajitas I've ever had and I really like my fajitas! The dish comes with pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, grated cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and of course your choice of chicken, beef or prawn, YUM!

3) Bella Italia
Bella Italia is a beautiful rustic Italian bistro in the centre of Limeick City. Pasta and Pizza is their specialty and they sure know how to do it right! My favouite pasta dishes on the menu are the Tagiliatelle Pollo e Funghi which is tagiliatelle, chicken pieces and mushrooms in a creamy sauce, the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Lasagne which comes with divine garlic bread. I find Lasagne is a hard thing to find done well, I absolutely love homemade lasagne's but normally when I go out I find they are very disappointing but Bella Italia know how to do them right and it's so so good! This restaurant is really perfect for any occasion so I'd really recommend it next time you visit Limerick.

4) Marco Polo
I've been to Marco Polo a lot of times and just keep coming back for more! Their service and food is simply impeccable and they have an amazingly fun atmosphere which really causes the cocktails to start flowing. The main thing I love about Marco Polo is their cocktail bar, they have a menu of every cocktail under the sun and they are all equally delicious. Their food of course is also really good and they have a really extensive menu including steaks, Italian dishes and curries so there's something for everyone. All in all Marco Polo is great for a really sociable fun evening out that'll made you want to come back for more!

5) Chocolat
Chocolat has some fantastic food and is the perfect place to hit for lunch when having a day on the town. Their menu is crazy big and the spicy chicken wings are absolutely to die for! If you're going to go to Chocolat you're obviously going to have to go for the 3 course lunch because why wouldn't you, treat yourself! I really recommend the burgers too cause they are divine but super filling so be aware you will be slightly sluggish after you finish one! But then comes dessert and even if you are crazy full you have to have their vanilla creme brulee as it's the best in town!

I hope you all really enjoyed this post as much as my one on the top eateries in Drogheda! As always if you have any questions or queries don't be afraid to ask! I'm always available on my Instagram: missneumeister, my Facebook:Trendy Irish Galand my Twitter: MissNeumeister .

Skin Essentials for All Skin Types and Issues! Part 2: Oily Skin

There are a million and one products out there for people with oily skin, all claiming they have the answer to dry up your face like a Sahara! But as always not all of them work like they say they will, so once again I'm here to save the day and your face!

CLEANSER
The purity one step daily facial cleanser from philosophy is an award winning product for a reason! It removes the makeup, cleanses, tones and lightly hydrates the skin. It rapidly dissolves makeup, dirt and oil to clear out pores and leave your skin feeling fresh as a daisy. It's also gentle enough to use on the eyes so this really is the perfect product to use if you are in a rush! You can pick it up in Boots for €11.
TONER
The Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Toning Lotion is excellent for oily skin that is feeling congested. Witch Hazel acts as an astringent which draws impurities from your skin and Tea Tree is excellent to treat spots and acne! This toner really gets in there and strips your skin ( in a good way) so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who doesn't have congested skin. You can pick it up in Boots for €4.79.

MOISTURISER
The Super facialist Rose Hydrate Radiance Day Cream is perfect for someone with oily skin who just needs a light moisturiser to seal in hydration. Day creams are always best for people with oily skin as they are normally lighter in consistency so aren't going to clog the pores more than they already are! Once you've used your cleanser and toner this is just perfect to leave your skin feeling supple and not stripped. You can pick it up in Boots for €16.99.

EXFOLIATOR
For you oily skinned guys and gals a good exfoliator should be your best friend! It's really whats going to freshen your skin and remove all that pesky oil. Soap and Glory's The Greatest Scrub of All is my all time favourite! This scrub can be used on almost every skin type but for very oily and congested skin I would recommend using it 2-3 times a week! A lot of scrubs made for people with oily skin can be too harsh but using a softer scrub more often works out better for your skin in the long run! You can pick this up at Boots for €12.25!
MASKS
Elizabeth Arden is a brand that has really been tried and tested throughout the years and there's a reason she's still around! The Visible Difference Peel and Reveal Revitalizing Mask is a real treat for the skin and really helps reduce the appearance of large pores which is an issue for anyone with oily skin! It takes about 15-20 minutes to fully set before you take it off so it's perfect to be used to have some you time as well! Win win! Pick it up in Boots for €37.

All products mentioned can be found on Boots.ie ! As always if you have any questions or queries don't be afraid to ask! I'm always available on my Instagram: missneumeister, my Facebook:Trendy Irish Gal and my Twitter: MissNeumeister .

Beyonce's Ivy Park Collection at Topshop

Beyonce's new Ivy Park Collection has just arrived at Topshop and I have thralled through the collection to find you the best bits!
These leggings were the fist thing to jump out at me when I saw the collection as a lot of things in it I would deem not wearable unless I somehow turn into Beyonce but these I feel I could pull off! These would look super cool to work out in and for €35 are pretty affordable too.

Next I really likes these shorts! They look super light and airy to run in, if I ever get to running! They also have a tight fit version of these shorts which I think are gorgeous too! And these both sell for €30. Also included in the collection is this parka which I think is absolutely to die for and if i ever become a gym bunny which I hope to some day this will definitely be my go to attire! For €105 it is a bit of a rob but I think I could wear this with anything not just lounge wear and really style it up so it's very versatile!

High Rise Leggings: €65

Color Block Leggings: €68

The collection also has a wide range of bombers which of course I am delighted about! Once again these bombers would be super cool leisure wear but could also really be styled up and worn out! €70

This sheer mesh hoodie is a little impracticable for our Irish weather but if you're hitting the gym over the summer months and we happen to get a few days nice weather this is super stylish and something I would definitely pick up! €59.

Its quite an extensive collection so of course I didn't love everything so didn't include everything. There are a lot more stylish items and some items to really bring out your inner Bey if you're feeling super confident! But don't trust me! Shop the collection for yourself at topshop.com/IvyPark .

I hope you all really enjoyed this post and as always if you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to contact me on here, on any of my social medias or for business inquires at trendyirishgal@gmail.com.
Thanks so much for reading!

Top 5 Eateries in Drogheda!

When it comes to restaurants Drogheda definitely has it all! No matter if you're having a family dinner, light lunch with friends or a romantic evening I've got you covered.

5) Bia
No matter what you're looking for Bia has it, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Breakfast in Bia ranges from a full Irish with all the trimmings to a stack of pancakes with cream and fresh berries! When it comes to lunch and evening meals they have a massive menu to cater to anything you fancy. They have quite an extensive stir fry menu and everyone I've ever been there with loves them, my personal favorite being the chicken satay! Bia is also extremely child friendly so a perfect place to bring young children when you're feeling like something a little more civilized than McDonald's, which is obviously super tasty too!

4) The Bare Food Company
This is the place to be for all the health conscious and anyone who loves a delicious bit of grub! Everything in The Bare Food Company is prepared on site and is sugar free! I've been here a few times and have decided my favorite thing on the menu is the chicken skewers which come with sweet potato fries, side salad, and their own home made slaw! This dish is so tasty and filling that you forget you're eating healthy and you really feel great after eating it! The Bare Food Company is great for everyone but personally I love to come here with my mum and have a chat over delicious food, win win!

3)Tangos
Tangos is the ultimate treat for anyone who loves Chinese food, but be warned you must I repeat must be starving to enter this restaurant. I have been here many times with family, friends and my boyfriend and every time I've left completely stuffed and satisfied. Tangos is an all you can eat restaurant but not like any you've been to before as they serve the food to the table! It costs €23 Sunday to Thursday and €26 Friday and Saturday per person! Eat as many starters as you can as they are simply delicious and the portions are small so try as many as you can! The cheese and chicken rolls are my personal favorite so give them a go!

2) WM Cairns & Son
This gastro pub is perfect for a good meal and a night out with friends! It always has a buzzing atmosphere and the staff are a delight. Like most gastro pubs their menu consists of chicken wings and burgers but with a good range of salads and other mains! As I said the atmosphere really is great for a night with friends, the drinks flow and the crack is mighty!

1) The Eastern Seaboard
Now this restaurant has quite the reputation as one of the best restaurants in Ireland not to mind Drogheda and by god does it live up to that reputation! I have been here on many occasions and just keep coming back for their food which I simply just can't find fault with. Before any food even arrives they give you a loaf of freshly baked bread for the table with butter and I'm not lying when I say this is some of the best bread I've ever tasted! My starter of choice is always the chicken wings cause they are simply divine, I simply can't talk this place up enough! For mains my usual would be pulled pork with sweet potato fries/regular fries or mash potatoes! This is what in my family we call a 'taste sensation' (a running joke) cause you really won't get anything like it anywhere else! I give the Eastern Seaboard a 10/10 for everything and come here absolutely whenever I get the chance, hopefully soon!

I really hope you enjoyed this post! As always please don't hesitate to ask any questions you have and if you have any requests please just let me know.

Makeup Essentials for All Skin Types and Issues! Part 2: Oily Skin!

The struggle is real for all you ladies out there with oily skin. Makeup just doesn't want to stay on your face but I think with a LOT of investigation I've found the best products out there to keep you lovely girls looking fresh and matte!

PRIMER
Makeup Forever has really come through when it comes to all our primer needs and it's no different for you oily lassies! Their Step1 mattifying primer is the answer to all your unwanted shine, it fights oil all day long to keep you looking matte! It contains sebustop vegetel complex which is a mineral oil which actually suppresses the natural oil on your face but keeps your skin looking fresh and not flat, win win! It also has blurring qualities which will help minimize pores, yay! €33 is a bit of a bummer but it works and a little goes a hella long way!

FOUNDATION
When it comes to foundation, if you have oily skin and don't use Revlon ColorStay then what are you doing with your life! ColorStay has been around for years as Revlon's best selling product and there's a reason why! A lot of foundations aren't formulated to deal with the oil our skin produces so our oils melt through the foundation throughout the day ruining all our precious work. ColorStay on the other hand is made to absorb the oils your skin produces, so it just adds a subtle glow throughout the day rather than an oil slick for only €17.79.

CONCEALER
Oh concealer! How you love to smudge and crease and fall half way down our leg, but we need you why you do this!? As I mentioned in my post Makeup Essentials for All Skin Types and Issues! Part 1: Dry Skin with Redness! my favorite concealer for all skin types is Mac Pro Longwear! As it says in the name this concealer lasts all day without fail on any skin type, a bold statement to make but I stand by it! It's lightweight and provides a medium to full coverage with a comfortable matte finish. I bought a little bottle of this about a year and a half ago and I'm still using it today so for €21 it's well worth it! I'm not the type to be sparing it either!

POWDER
With this trio of primer, foundation and concealer I say who even needs a powder but lets be real we all do. Benefit's Hello Flawless powder is technically a powder foundation but it perfect for setting oily skin for an all day matte feeling and awesome coverage! It has a really silky formula which I love in a powder cause it means no hard pan (ew) and feels great when your applying it! Available for €35 at all Benefit counters and online!

I think this light pink lace mini dress would be perfect for a spring wedding or a day at the races! I would team it with some nude heels and leave it at that! This dress speaks for itself! Buy Here! for €114.

Of course there would be a new pink peplum jacket for me to fall in love with! This would be gorgeous with a completely white outfit to keep it fresh and stylish on a night out or a day on the town! Buy It Here for €80.

Next we have this lovely white split back blazer! Rouched sleeves are in at the moment and this is the perfect way to wear them! This blazer just speaks for itself! Buy It Here for €75!

Kim Kardashian is the queen of a good duster coat in a perfect nude shade and this light pink one will have you like the queen herself in no time! These are really easy to wear with most outfits and can be worn dressed up or casual! Buy It Here for €80!
